Dawson's Creek is a story of a group of teenagers growing up in a small town outside of Massachusetts. The show starts with 4 main characters during the first season: Dawson, Joey, Pacey, and Jen. Dawson Leery is the main character. A filmmaker with many dreams, Dawson thinks that all of life's answers can be found in a Spielberg film. He seems to have a perfect life with a solid family, and a comfortable house and lifestyle. His best friend, Joey, the tomboy from down the creek who lives with her sister and her sister's boyfriend is meanwhile falling in love with Dawson.
